On 2 August 2005 the European Commission confirmed by its decision the project No. 2005/017-494-02-01 prepared by FCIS in 2005 “Protection of the Financial Interests of the Community and Combating Fraud”.

PROJECT VALUE
0.7 mln. EUR, including 0.035 EUR of the funds of general funding.

PROJECT GOAL
Strengthening of FCIS administrative and technical capacity, seeking to ensure proper information analysis, while combating fraud and conducting prevention of offences.

PROJECT PARTS

Twinning part;

On 22 May, 2007 the Twinning agreement No. 2005/017-494-02-01-0002 between Special Financial Investigation Service of the Greek Ministry of Finance and Economy and the FCIS was signed (duration - 15 months).
